Dina Lenkovic is a Croatian surrealist artist who works primarily in oil on mediums such as cardboard, wood and canvas. In these beautiful surreal, fantastic paintings she depicts the effects of war, the Greek myth of the sirens,her vision of the Swan Lake ballet, angelic and mythological characters. Ms Lenkovic has degree in Ethnology and Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb. From 1976 she took lessons with Marin Tartaglia, professor at the Fine Arts Academy in Zagreb. She has since exhibited her artwork in the US, England, Croatia, Austria and Germany. She is a member of the UK association The Society for Art of Imagination and in 2000 she won a special recommendation from masters Ernst Fuchs and Philip Rubinov-Jacobson at the exhibition 100 Sacred Visions in Austria’s Payerbach. Since 2011 her paintings are in the permanent collection of Fantastic Art museum in Vienna Austria.
